"Diamond Dive"

Films: Killer Fish (1979)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Ocean

Height/Weight: That of average piranhas.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Ladies and gents, the off-brand version of Operation: Razorteeth. In that this piranha problem had less to do with winning a war and more to do with complete avarice.

History: One day, a man clearly off his meds decided that he needed to hide his big wealthy diamonds at the bottom of a body of water in South America. But why stop there? There's plenty of piranhas you could get to keep the place under lock and key! And that's just what he did. Inevitably, a bunch of unassuming schmucks decided to get the treasure for themselves. The piranha will tear them apart...provided they don't do that to themselves first.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: Tornadoes and explosions aside (this went off the rails quickly), the diamond hunt ends with a bunch of people dead, including an instance with the piranha chewing through a life boat to get to one of them. Nevertheless, the diamonds are salvaged by more competent folk, and given to alright people.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-While man-eating fish are still hardly a joking matter, these guys don't pose a threat to the non-greedy. And besides, seeing those obviously fake dead bombed piranha floating in the water is just sad.

Trivia: -Piranha, further demonstrating how badly we exaggerate them, actually make for some good aquarium pets if you care for them correctly.

-This film is also known as "Deadly Treasure of the Piranha".

And we search for any value in this.

Think about that next time you want to take a dip.

All because some guys got a bit greedy.

Hate breeds from both man and fish today.

The meal is right there guys! Guys?!
